In January 2001 I climbed Mt. Aconcagua which is located between Mendoza, Argentina and Santiago, Chile.
I climbed with Scott Wollums' company Adventures International.
Mt.
Aconcagua is the highest mountain in South America, in the western hemisphere, and in the southern hemisphere, too.
My first climb was exhausting and a real challenge as I dealt with altitude, severely
cold weather, and isolation.
